The Woman Behind
Prior to founding PhysioFit Delaware, Angela worked for 12 years as a physical therapist, clinical instructor, and residency mentor in University of Delaware’s Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy Clinic, while serving as a Research PT and Assistant Professor of Practice in the nation’s #1 ranked Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She continues to serve as the Research PT for UD's ACL Injury Lab and the Delaware Tendon Research Group.
As part of an elite group of physical therapists nationwide, Angela holds dual certification as a Board Certified Specialist in both Orthopedics and Sports by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. She provides continuing education at the professional level via national presentations on sports medicine topics and authorship of book chapters and journal articles on ACL and tendon injuries.
Angela is a fitness enthusiast and die-hard Philly sports fan. She played soccer for over 20 years, has completed several sprint triathlons and one (and only one!) marathon. These days you will find her up before the sun working out at her local CrossFit box. Angela enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, 3 young children, and lovable lab mix.
At PhysioFit Delaware, Angela brings her rich clinical experience, rooted in evidence-based treatment and cutting-edge research, to the private practice setting. She looks forward to working within the greater Delaware community to help others build, maintain, and engage in an active lifestyle via personalized, one-on-one care.
